Jason Winterbottom, O.D. - Hamilton Eye Doctor
Dr. Winterbottom joined Wing Eyecare in May 2005 and practices in our Hamilton office. Dr. Winterbottom is a graduate of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 1997. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science in 2000 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA in 2002. He has been a long-time resident of New Jersey and moved to the Cincinnati area in May of 2005. Dr. Winterbottom has been a member of the 177th Fighter Wing NJ Air National Guard since 1992 and is the current Chief of Optometry. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the National Guard Optometric Association, and the Ohio Optometric Association. His areas of special interest include primary care optometry, contact lenses, sports vision and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Winterbottom resides in Liberty Township with his wife, Desiree, and children Marleigh, Derek, and Micah.
Dr. Winterbottom also fits custom soft and RGP lenses for those difficult to fit eyes, along with specialty contact lenses for corneal disease to include: Keratoconus, Pellucid Marginal Degeneration, Corneal Transplants, Corneal Scars, Irregular Cornea, Dry Eye (include Sjogren’s Syndrome), Post Refractive surgery.
